The practice
Lumen Dental Studio Ltd is registered in England. All dentistry is provided by clinicians registered with the General Dental Council; the practice is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Demo note: Lumen is a fictional practice — this site is a design template.
Consultations and estimates
Your first consultation is free and creates no obligation. Every plan is confirmed in writing with a fixed price before treatment begins. That figure does not change unless you and your dentist agree a change of plan — also in writing.
Appointments
We ask for 48 hours’ notice to rearrange. Missed appointments and late cancellations may carry a fee at our discretion — we waive it for genuine emergencies, because we’re dentists, not traffic wardens.
Payment and finance
Payment is due as each stage of treatment completes. Finance options (including 0% over 12 months) are provided by a third-party lender, subject to status; the lender’s terms apply alongside ours.
Guarantees
Porcelain veneers and crowns carry a ten-year guarantee against failure of the porcelain or bond under normal use, provided you attend recommended hygiene reviews. The guarantee covers remaking the restoration; it cannot cover new decay, trauma, or grinding without a worn nightguard.
If something goes wrong
Tell us first — you will get the treating dentist, and same-week resolution of anything related to our work at no charge. If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you may contact the Dental Complaints Service or the GDC. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
